A brief bio:

Making one look twice at things usually taken for granted is what photography is to me. In terms of style, my favorite photographs are the ones that play with the viewer's mind. An example comes to mind: a picture of an ordinary event or object in the foreground as the main subject with a significant event or object (like a famous landmark maybe) in the background as something insignificant. What this type of picture does is greatly magnify the significance of something that would be taken for granted otherwise. Of course, the aesthetics of photography is just as important. You need to make the viewer look at the picture before it can play with the mind.

I took my first photography course during my senior year at Knox College in 2006. Since then, the camera has become my favorite toy, maybe along with the soccer ball. Right now, it is still just a hobby; but in the future, I would like to travel all over the globe with a camera in my hand. If only I didn't have all these bills to pay keeping me stuck to one place.

The end.
